Summer, 2009 Conferences With Eugene Schwartz
Grades One and Three Conferences, Kimberton, PA
The Essential Conferences for Grades One and Three return to the East Coast! They follow the innovative and successful format pioneered by Eugene Schwartz several years ago. 18 presentations over three days guide teachers to the "essentials" of the grade they will be teaching, emphasizing the anthroposophical foundations of the Waldorf curriculum. The Grade One Conference will be held June 20 - June 22, and the Grade Three Conference will take place from June 25 - June 27. Our conference site will be the beautiful farm setting of Kimberton Hills Camphill Village in Kimberton, PA. These conferences are affordable, stimulating, and rejuvenating.
Independent school teachers, charter school teachers, and home schooling parents are all invited to join us. Visit our web site at www.essentialwaldorf.com to learn more.
Grades Four, Five, Six, and Seven Conferences in Mancos, CO
Join us for the Essential Conferences for Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 in Mancos, Colorado. The Grades 4 and 5 Conferences will take place on July 1 – 7 and the Grades 6 and 7 Conferences will take place between July 9 – July 15. The four conferences are led by Eugene Schwartz, Karl Johnson, and Marilyn Fox, class teachers with decades of experience and expertise. Lectures offer not only a wealth of practical advice, but emphasize the anthroposophical foundations of Waldorf education. Teachers who have joined us over the past few years have found that they learn to “Know What, Know How, and Know Why.” Our setting is the base camp of Deer Hill Outdoor Expeditions, which lies in a mountain valley in southwestern Colorado, not far from the fabled Four Corners region.
Independent school teachers, charter school teachers, and home schooling parents are all invited to join us. For more information, visit our web site at www.essentialwaldorf.com, and be sure to watch the featured video with scenes of past conferences.
